I promised my nieces to take them out for their birthday as a treat and do something fun. I suggested the American Girl store in NY. My one niece was all for it, the other not so much. We went back and forth on it for months. I tried to explain to the 10 yo that there is so much more to do in NY then just the American Girl store, but she was not having it. So her sister got a trip to New York. So I took the 7 yo by herself instead. I picked her up from school at 2:30 and we drove to the Hamilton train station in NJ. Once we arrived in NY we hopped a cab to the hotel, dumped our stuff, and went to the American Girl store. She picked out a new doll that looks just like her. We stopped by Rockefeller Center on the way back and checked out the Lego store as well. Dinner was at the hotel and we split a pizza and a chocolate fudge sundae for dessert. We stayed overnight at the Marriott Marquis in Time Square where hubby was staying for work.
I took almost 200 pictures while I was there. I have only gotten through a few and thought I would share the ones I have edited so far. This was my first attempt at street photography.
